www.motorhomesdirect.co.uk I was talking to a friend of mine a while ago who had an interest in buying a motorhome. I could see a flaw in his plan straight away though, he is a busy guy with a hectic family life and a full time job. Realistically he has taken just one 2 week family in the past 10 years and that was to stay at a friends house in Essex, while he went to Greece. I asked him what he would do with it whilst it was not being used, he replied that he would use it as a garden office building! This misuse of a motorhome is wrong in so many ways…with the buy to let motorhome service provided by Motorholme he could have easily been letting his motorhome earn good money for the 50 weeks of the year that he would almost certainly not be using it. Furthermore the income from this would help him to buy a dedicated garden office building with proper electricity, internet and heating. Anyway after much deliberation he decided that a motorhome was not for him, not even a buy to let one. This was probably a good decision.
